Split Screen is a smart feature that allows you to watch two or more content from different sources simultaneously. Unfortunately, the split screen feature is available only on a few Sharp Aquos TV models. If you use other Sharp TV OS models, you cannot enable the split screen mode from settings. Steps to Enable Split Screen on Sharp Aquos TV
1. Go to the home screen of your Sharp Aquos TV.
2. On your Sharp Aquos TV remote, press the P&P button. Now, The split screen or two screens will appear on the screen.

3. Once the two screens appear on the screen, you can make changes by selecting each screen separately. Use the Select button on the screen to select any one screen. The selected screen is called an active screen, and it is denoted with a music note symbol at the top.

4. Then, tap the TV/Video button to add an input source on the active screen. Do the same for the second screen as well. Now, you can view two different content on your Sharp TV at the same time.
5. Once you have finished using the split screen, press the P&P button again on the remote to exit the split screen mode.
Under What Conditions the Split Screen Will Not Work on Sharp TV?
The Split Screen function does not work under the conditions mentioned below.
1. Two pictures or content from the same input source will not work.
2. Pictures with two different vertical frequencies will not work on this split-screen mode. For example, if the vertical frequency of the picture on one screen is PAL and the other screen is PLA-60, the split screen will not function.
3. You cannot display the content from the RS-232C input or PC INPUT terminal on the split screen.
4. Further, the split screen will not work if the input signal is 1080P/50Hz or 1080P/60Hz.
How to View Split Screen on Other Sharp TV OS Models
Since the Split Screen feature is available only on Sharp Aquos TVs, there are a few alternative ways to use it on other Sharp TVs.
Screen Mirroring
If you have a Windows PC or Mac, you can split the screen on your computer and screen mirror the PC or Mac screen to the TV to obtain the split screen view. To perform screen mirroring, your Sharp TV needs to be connected to the same WiFi as your Windows PC or Mac. Then, enable the screen mirroring mode on your Sharp TV from Settings.
Next, you need to play your desired content from two sources and split the screen on your Windows PC or Mac. Then, perform screen mirroring by pressing the following actions based on your PC.
- Windows PC: Press the Windows + K keys on your PC and select your Sharp TV from the active devices list. Now, the screen on your PC will be mirrored on your TV.
- Mac: Go to the Control Center on your Mac and select the Screen Mirroring option. Choose your Sharp TV from the list and begin viewing the two different content simultaneously on your Sharp TV.
Use Multiviewer to Split the Screen
If you have a multiviewer connected to your Sharp TV, you can connect multiple HDMI devices and stream content simultaneously on your TV.

So, take an HDMI cable and connect its one end to your Sharp TV. Then, connect the other end to your Multiviewer. Also, if you have external devices like streaming devices or gaming consoles, connect them to the port on the Multiviewer. Now, turn on your TV and activate the split screen using the Multiviewer remote. Once enabled, you can access up to 4 screens on your Sharp TV.
